“Ruth Unrestrained”: (Size: 18” by 12”)
I chose Ruth Bader Ginsburg as the subject for my printmaking project. Inspired by her strength and groundbreaking achievements for women, I chose to show her outside of a symbolic cage with the simple word “ROAR.” The purpose of the piece is to show her image and strength by displaying a tribute to her position in history. She can not be restrained and her work for equal rights for women is also without barriers.
